Limits & billing

Your DM allowance, why sends are paced, plans and invoices.

Tracking Your DM Allowance

  1. Find the meter

The DM meter sits at the bottom of the sidebar on desktop and in the top bar on mobile.

  2. Read it

It shows DMs used against your monthly allowance — 1,000 on Starter. Influencer has no monthly cap, so it shows the count instead.

  3. Watch the colour

It turns amber past 75% and red past 90%, so a surprise stop never arrives silently.

  4. Know the reset

The allowance resets at the start of each calendar month, across all your connected accounts.

Managing Your Plan and Invoices

  1. Open Subscription

Go to Subscription from the sidebar — that is where plans, invoices and cancellation live.

  2. Compare plans

Starter gives 5 automations and 1,000 DMs a month. Influencer gives unlimited automations, unlimited DMs and 5 Instagram accounts on the one price.

  3. Pay in USD or INR

Checkout runs on Razorpay. Indian cards and UPI AutoPay bill in rupees; international cards bill in dollars.

  4. Cancel any time

Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep Influencer until the period you already paid for ends.

Questions

Is there a message limit?

On Starter, yes — 1,000 DMs a month, shared across every connected account, resetting at the start of each calendar month. Influencer has no monthly cap; very heavy months are paced rather than stopped, so nothing is refused. The meter in the sidebar shows what you have used either way. Plans and invoices live on the Subscription page.

Why is there a delay before a DM goes out?

Sends are paced on purpose. Instagram treats a burst of identical instant replies as automation, so DMChat spaces them out and varies the timing slightly. There is also an invisible safety rail per Instagram account that sits well under Meta's published limit. You will only ever notice it during a viral spike, and nothing is dropped — it queues.

What happens when I hit my monthly DM allowance?

Sends pause rather than fail silently, and you are warned at 75% and 90% first. Upgrading restores sending immediately; otherwise the allowance resets at the start of the next calendar month.

How do I pay, and can I cancel?

Checkout runs on Razorpay. Indian customers pay in rupees via card or UPI AutoPay; everyone else pays in dollars by card, and you can switch currency yourself on the pricing page. Cancel from the Subscription page at any time — cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep Influencer until the period you already paid for ends.
