Is DMChat safe? Yes. DMChat uses Meta’s official Instagram API as a Verified Tech Provider, never asks for your Instagram password, and keeps your access token on our servers. You can remove its access from Instagram at any time.

Questions creators ask
Can DMChat get my Instagram account banned?
DMChat only uses Meta’s official API, which is built for exactly this, and paces replies well under Instagram’s limits with human-like gaps. Nothing is completely risk-free, but this is the approach Instagram itself supports.
Can you read my DMs?
Instagram sends us the comments and messages your automations need to answer, and we store them only for as long as the Privacy Policy says. We don’t post, like, follow or message anyone except the replies you set up.
How do I take back access?
Disconnect the account in DMChat, or remove DMChat in Instagram under Settings and activity → Website permissions → Apps and websites. Either way, automations on that account stop immediately. They aren’t deleted: reconnect the same account and they start again by themselves.
What happens to my data if I leave?
Settings → Delete account permanently deletes your account, your Instagram connections and everything you set up, straight away. There’s no grace period, so it can’t be restored. The Data Deletion page has the details.
Found a security problem?
Email support@dmchat.io with the subject “Security report” and the steps to reproduce it. We reply within 2 business days and won’t take action against anyone who reports in good faith and doesn’t touch other people’s data.
