Connect Instagram and get your first automation answering DMs.
Go to Integrations from the sidebar.
Click "Connect" on the Instagram card.
You'll be redirected to Meta's authorization page. Grant the required permissions.
Once redirected back, your account status will show as "Connected" with your handle.
Go to Automations from the sidebar and click "Create Automation".
Select what starts the automation: a keyword in comments, a story reply, or a new follower.
Write the DM that will be sent when the trigger fires. Use variables like {username} for personalization.
Toggle the automation on. It will start responding to matching triggers immediately.
Go to Integrations in the sidebar and click "Connect" on the Instagram card. You'll be redirected to authorize access through Meta. Both Business and Creator accounts are supported.
DMChat works with Instagram Business and Creator accounts. Personal accounts are not supported because Meta's API requires a professional account type for messaging automation.
